Next time you want to detail, I suggest you try it yourself! (by the sound of it you had it done by a car wash). 1) you get the personal gratification when you're done and 2) you'll end up spending much less money in the long run. However, the personal gratification is the greatest feeling ever!!

actually my dad loves detailing cars, it gives him something to do... so he did it... for free!
