i went off roading and let my gf drive for a while and she somehow used my running boards as sliders when i wasnt looking and now they are bent outta hell.

I had to ship similar things. Let me save you some time. I know you live in pheonix but see if you can find a ski shop and ask them for a box. Ski boxes work perfect for these things and the shops just throw them away.
