05 Sport JBL Sirius Question

I have the 05 Sport with the JBL stereo system. I have a Sirius radio that plugs into the lighter and and attaches to the windshield. Is it possible to add a Sirius radio to the in-dash JBL unit? I heard, or read, that you could possibly add a 'chip' or some how add the Sirius unit to the existing system. The bottom line is I hate the wires and sloppy look of the lighter/window attachment since it looks bad. ANY help will be appreciated.

Also, I am on the my third T4R and this site is great. The members are helpful and knowledgable and it is appreciated.

hello, I beleive that there are some kits however depending on the unit the system may or may not be compataible. Do you have a sat button on radio? Preinstalled antenna?

its available from the dealer for my 07 10 speaker jbl. think they said like $350 for the kit {wires, antennas, etc} and the unit itself. They come seperatly I was told.

I do not have a SAT button or a preinstalled antenna. I might do the install method at some point but the current system will work for a while. Thanks a lot for the replies. Jeff
