05 Sport vs. 04 Limited

found 2 local trucks i am interested in and in my price range. both v8's with the same amount of miles. one is a black 2004 limited and the other a 2005 sport in silver. i don't really know the diff. if it was you, which would you choose and why? thanks!

both trucks are 95k kms and the limited does have air suspension. the 04 is 19500CDN and the 05 is 20000CDN. however i found a 2005 limited in the next door province for 30000 CDN with only 51k kms on it. i am going to see how low they'll go and see.

05 will have VVT-i for a small but noticeable bump in torque and hp especially in the 4-5k range; however, I feel the 03/04 V8's are smoother.

how many miles?

does the limited have xreas/rear air?

- VVT-i on the V8 with a little more HP
- color keyed bumper accents instead of silver
- spoiler design change

the question comes down to if you want the options of the limited over a few changes in the 05 model. also, you can get the TRD dual exhaust for the 04 if you can find one. it wont fit with the spare on the 05 model. what options come with the limited?

if you intend on installing a lift in the future, the one with RAS will make your choices very limited, (no pun intended)

I'm just gonna toss this out there, black is a pain in the ass to keep clean. If you take it off road, just know the brush stripes will be with you forever. I've had black, it's gorgeous clean but damn...too much work. I like 06 up personally cause of the led tails, projector fronts, round wells blah blah blah...
