05 to an 06 4 runner

Hello everyone I bought a stock 05 SR5 4 runner brand new. I added Leather seats to it, and just bought the eclipse navigation system to it w/ the camera, and the sirius reciever, and eclipse 6 disc cd changer. HOwever I haven't got it in yet, and i have some worries about if it will work with the steering wheel controls. Besides that I watned to make my 05 4 runner to look like the 06's with the chrome. What all is different on the outside of the 4 runner from the 05 to the 06?. I saw on jason burkmans site that the chrome doorhandles are 89 a piece. Thats a little pricy to buy 4 of them. Does anyone know where i can get them cheaper and what else i need. Thanks

To make your 05 look like an 06 from the outside, you will need:

New Hood
New Headlights
New Front Bumper
New Fenders
New Rear Bumper
New LED Tail lights
Probably some side pannels will need to be changed out as well.

In other words.... don't even bother thinking about it.

The 2006 SR5's also come with a chrome grill, but that wouldn't fit your 2005 without mods.

also, new fog lamps, and rewiring of the signal/DRL (daytime running lights) from the bottom to the top of the new projector headlamp light set. :

Exactly, and if you want the new grill, you need pretty much everything I mentioned in my post....

Where are you located? I wouldnt mind trading my chrome door handles if you are local and have black door handles in exchange.
