'05 V8 idles fast

I just bought an '05 4wd with V8 and 110k miles. Anytime it is in gear (reverse or drive) it is "pulling" more than anything I've ever driven. Once it's warmed up it idles at 750. Is this normal?

I just took it to local dealer to get serviced and had them do intake/fuel system cleaning and that didn't help it.

Mine does the same thing, those V8's just wanna go!

But I was thinking of adjusting the idle, but didn't want to F up anything. Hopefully someone cam chime in to help.

All sound normal, I blame it on the stall-speed of the converter. It does pull hard even at a redlight. You learn to apply more brake just to stay stopped.

Exactly, it seems I have to stand on the brakes waiting for the lights to turn.

Is the stall converter programmable?

Another thing I thought was that the brakes could be stronger. I guess I should just get used to it and quit worrying about it before I start spending alot of money trying to make it a lexus.
