I wonder why Edmunds only lists side curtain airbags as an option on the Limited. According to the Toyota website, this is an option on all three models.

I'd really like to get these, but I hear it's almost impossible to get a 4Runner with them unless it's a loaded Limited.

I have an 04 SR5 with the side curtain airbag package.... Not sure of Toyota's codes but it seems they generally shipped the SR5 with either the side curtain airbags - OR - the doubledecker & VIP alarm. Probably trying to keep the prices about the same.

Edmunds tends to only list options that you will see available for models at the dealership, not what is available if you were to custom order.

The dealership gave me the standard 6-8 wk story. I have to go through Gulf States, so I'm not sure if that slows things down or not since they are a distributor not owned by Toyota.

They are made in Japan and shipped over, so yeah, 6-8 weeks is normal.

We ordered ours like a month and a half ago and it won't be here until mid-late December. But that's because it's a V8. We're willing to wait.
