06-08 Clear Corners

Has anyone removed the orange lense on the outside of the headlight housing on the 06-08 T4R?? Because it is part of the housing I dont think they can make a clear corner, but I think you can remove it. If anyone has done this let me know I'm interested to see how it is done. Thanks

Also if anyone knows how to remove the taillights let me know, I dont see any screws, just a plastic shield that i dont want to break it.

I blacked out my headlights on my 04 this past summer. The orange lense can be removed, but it's a ton of work to get it. You've got to cook the whole headlight in the oven to separate it and then use a screw driver to pop out the orange member you speak of.

I dont know why you'd remove it though, it protects a bulb within the housing.

Yeah I want to remove and replace with a clear one. The older T4R's have a seperate housing that you can just buy a clear version of it. How easy was it to paint the inside of your headlight housing? Would you be able to paint this lense with a tint spray??

Use Krylon Fusion paint, it's designed for maximum adhesion to plastics. With other paint, you're going to have to scuff the housing really good or else risk peeling.
