06 JBL Synthsis H/U ?

I'm looking at one right now that is a possible deal. I have an 06 sport , but looking for something with a little more punch/clarity to it over the stocker ( not drastic , just a little better ).

Does anyone know if there is a built in amp in this unit , or how many watts per channel it is over my unit which is a 6 disk wms/mp3 w/sat model # p1802 ( which I think does not have an amp or a very low watt one at best )

Specs on both would be a nice comparison but I can seem to find it and the dealer does not know JACK !

The JBL system should have external amplifiers, at least mine in my 05 does. They are a pain in the ass to get to and aren't that great, as you seem to already know!
