06 projection Housing VS retrofit???

I am trying to decide if I want to either upgrade the housing on my 2003 4runner to the 2006 with Projection or do a retrofit tsx or RX. I will upgrade them with HID after the upgrade. Or should i just do the HID upgrade and forget the rest?

I am not 100% sure about doing the retrofit I have never tried it and am just a touch leary.

By another set of headlights on ebay, you can get them fairly cheap. take your time doing them and then sell your old ones when your done.

I suggest The Retrofit Source for all your retrofit needs. Go with FX-R they are bi-xenons and only $135 per set, cant go wrong with that :

You might want to take a look at HIR lamps. I'm really happy with the performance and still notice how much better they look than normal halogen when I'm on dark roads.

I vote retrofit. If you don't want to do it yourself, Cesar from Lightwerkz does amazing work.
