06 Runner Skid Plate

Has anyone fabricated thier own skid plate for thier 06 runna? Or does anyone have the specs for the skid plate, clearance issues and all that stuff. The reason why im asking is becuase I have a friend that is a metal worker, and he said that he is willing to fabricate a custom front skid plate for me. Thanks.

there's the downey skid plate...

but i would likfe info about that either. i hear its not a 100% R & R
