06 sport v8 ticking when cold

I have an 06 sport v8 when i start it in the mourning it ticks some almost like lifters iher it on the drivers side coming from underneath goes away after acouple of minutes .Anybody else ever notice this.My 04 sr5 v8 did'nt doe this.I hear it when i'am standing next to it.

Hey,
My 2003 4Runner Sport Edition 4x4 does this too when cold. As a matter of fact, even my parent's 2002 Toyota Sequoia V8 4x4, which uses a similar V8 does this when cold. I guess its notmal? Someone else have opinions?

I had the same concern. Actually, I notice it more when it's warm. Search for "evap purge valve" I would presume this is what you're hearing.
