'06-up flares on an '03-'05?

Has anybody done this? I know it seems petty, but I like the later model flares on the 4th gen. I know I can match up part #'s at the dealer, but I thought I'd cheat and see if any of you had already tried it...

Round peg in a square hole?

03-05 had angled fenders vs 06-09 have round fenders, did you notice this?

Luckily, I've got a custom front, loosely similar to what ShrockWorks puts out. But, yeah I'm seeing that the rear is molded to match.... that sucks. I wish I had an '06-'09 to park side by side - I guess I'll keep a lookout for one the next time I'm out and about.:happens:

Been thinking about the same thing lately since I switched from '06 to '03. I like the '06+ ones better.
