06 V8 limited clunk

I have been experiencing a clunking sensasion when i come to a stop and then also when i accelerate. Doesnt happen all the time but often. Toyota take checked diff and the drive shaft and all was good. Its not the brakes sticking,we checked that too. Any ideas?

Do a search. This is a pretty common thing. You need to lube your driveline. You can find all the fittings in the maintenance section..
 
^^^ What he said. Its the front driveshaft slip joint. propellor shaft they {toyota} call it. needs grease. There should be 6 zerk fittings i think.
 
HAHAHA. So, when I suggested a search, as there are literally 1000 threads on this; no one listened?

It costs 10 bucks and takes about 20 minutes. If you want the write up, please look in the Maintenance section. The driveline has multiple grease fittings. You take a grease gun with the appropriate grease and fill each fitting up with grease.


In the maintenance section, there are much better write ups that literally explain every detail. If you physically able to lift a soda bottle (weight) and able to lay flat on the floor or sleep, then you are physically able to do this.
