07 4-Runner?

I guess at the end, it is all a matter of preference. Do you prefer quality and high reliability at the expense of some radical styling and/or frequent redesigns.

We're all waiting for the next Supra when it comes out. I think there may be some hints at it being a hybrid. Now wouldn't that be highly innovative and desirable to the masses?

Again, I think Toyota knows exactly what they are doing.

I really like the way Toyota will keep a vehicle design in place for longer than a year or two. I think it gives better customer satisfaction with existing owners in that you don't have to worry about your vehicle becoming outdated in a year or two.

I'm not advocating 1 to 2 year turn around, which no one does anyway. All I'm wishing for is 5 years instead of 7 years.

And, I'm not waiting for a Supra, I'm waiting for a new 4Runner. I haven't bought a car in 15 years. Yeah Toyota puts out new models almost every year but were talking about turn around times on specific models not their whole product line.

I agree but lets face it, people like new and different things. By the time you are at the end of a design run you should have a better, more reliable vehicle but they are all over the place and that can get boring.

When you are buying, yes you would want different but after you buy, you want it to stay the same so it looks new longer. There is nothing worse then buying new and the next year they redesign.
