07 4runner Dash light out no Navi.

07 4runner Clock display light out no Navi.

Half of my display light is out on my 07 with not Navi. The half that is out is where the clock is displayed. The other half displays fine. Is there a way to fix this and is it hard.

There are replaceable bulbs you can buy at the dealer. They are a couple bucks each. Sometimes the bulb that is in there can vibrate loose and not make contact so you may want to check and make sure before replacing.


It's been a while since I had mine apart but I believe you just open the door below the clock/trip computer and pull the door off its hinges. There may be a screw or two holding the the clock/trip computer in place but once those are out you just have to carefully pull out the plastic to release the clips holding it in.

So its as easy as opening that door ok I will go down and try. For a while the hole thing lit up and then it started to flicker and now it wont come on.

Yea I took it apart just have to go get a replacement tomorrow. What are they called just panel bulbs when I go to the stealer ship tomorrow.

I forget what they are called. When I went in for mine I told them it was the bulbs for the backlighting on the clock/trip computer. They pulled up a diagram and I pointed them out on the diagram. Since you've had it apart that should probably work for you too.
