'07 4Runner from Bristol, CT

Hi All :sadwave:

Just traded in my mazda mazdaspeed6 for a 2007 4Runner. Should have bought the 4Runner when I bought the car but after having a Tacoma for 8 years I had a car itch.

Anyway the itch was scratched and I now have the 4Runner. After spending a lot of time on the mazda forum and meeting some great friends I thought I would see what its like over here.

Only had it for a week, but I love it (so does my chocolate lab).

Luke is the name (if you hadn't figured it out my by sn)

Welcome man. Im from southbury, ct. any plans on mods or upgrades? i know you've only had it for a short while, but you can never start too early. any other stats on the T4R? SR5, Sport Edition, Limited? 4wd? stuff like that.

We can meet at the Danbury Mall, or at like home depot off exit 7 on 84. Im like 9 minutes from the mall, and the record from my house to Home Depot is 12 minutes, so those sound like middleground places.

Morning! Thanks

Its a Sport Edition, V6, 4WD. Maroon/Red (drawing a blank at the moment on the actual color). Has side steps and window rain gaurds installed already.

I ordered the wethertech front/rear/ cargo digiliners to start. Its a daily drive and they are well worth it.

Tints and starter to go in next week and I ordered a garmin since my car had a factory one. Then I'll start looking at mods.

I need a break for at least a few weeks. I just demodded my car before I traded it in, so I'll enjoy just driving it for now.

Simple mods include the LED interior lights (suggestions?)
Possibly head unit

Pictures to come! Snow on wednesday, so I need to clean it first :)

Def. Hopefully this weekend I'll give it a cleaning from this weeks snow and I'll post pics.


CT meet up sounds good. I'm hoping this forum and the guys on here turn out to be as great as the guys I meet while owning my mazda.

this forum is an invaluable resource. i consider my self a pretty savvy car owner and the amount of imformation on this forum is just fantastic. its helped solve problems and great advice for modifications too. Everyone else's mods are also great in making you want to mod your own 4runner and spend lots of $$$
 
the 4runner looks great. love the color. and the tints in the front windows are going to look fantastic. what dealership in the area did you get it from?

Lorensen Toyota. My father bought a Tundra from them a little less than a year ago, they were good to him so I went back there.
