07 Cdn Brochure

I believe most if not all of those off-road pics are also in my copy of the '07 US brochure. One thing that's weird is I'm pretty sure the one that's blue in the Canadian version is red in the U.S. version - some sort of computer color swapping :D

no sport edition for 07?
Only V8 Sport's in Canada for 07....no V6 for some reason? I don't have the numbers, but if I had to guess I would have thought the V6 to be a more popular motor in the Sport....weird

Edit: and no V8 to be had in a base SR5; V6 only. Both engines available on the Limited.

Did anyone also happen to catch that in some of the pictures the 03-05 Instrument cluster is shown? Probably a minor detail but if Toyota took the time to redesign the instrument cluster for 06, a minor a detail as it is they would take the time to update all of the pictures in the brochure. Now that I think of it I wonder why Toyota made such a minor change to the cluster when a detail like this probably would not have affected sales. I think Toyota really makes these minor changes for those who already own 03-05 4Runners. Take for example LED tailights, the only people who would really care about this upgrade are those who already own 03-05 4Runners to where a person who's never owned a 4 Runner, the tail light upgrade would go un-noticed and probably would not care.

Also, if you are on the exterior page and they show the cluster, the stereo was photoshoped in.

The 2006 brochure was like that. The navigation has an updated picture with the Bluetooth tag on it which doesn't exist on the actual nav, but a 2003-05 gauge cluster. The steering wheel doesn't have the telephone buttons on the right either.

Toyota's brochure accuracy can be way off. The 2004 Camry brochures say nav has a tape deck, but even super early '04 Camry's built in 2003 have the newer all in one unit navs.

I guess only enthusiasts and those with a detailed eye will catch their Easter Eggs.
