07 SR5 Rear Window Switch Prob

I've had my 07 SR5 since May 2008 and have used the auto up/down rear window switch many times with no issues.

This morning I used the button on the FOB to lower the window to retrieve some items from the back, then got in the truck and attempted to use the console switch: nothing. I had to insert the key in the door to raise the window but at least I know the motor works.

I've started the engine and shut it off a few times today already and still the console switch fails to work at all.

Anyone else had the console switch "die" on them? Any specific troubleshooting you guys recommend?

I just rolled 37k miles a few weeks ago lol so I think that makes it a wear and tear issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the window control lock out switch on the drivers door? It disables the back window switch as well.

I have 75,000 miles on my '04 and this STILL happens to me!

I bet that has happened to most of us. It really freaks you out the first time !
