07 Xreas Lift Question

I have an 07 Limited V8 with XREAS. I visited a local offroad store today and was told I can pretty much only get a 2-3" suspension lift and keep the XREAS system. This will only let me get a tire about 1 size larger than stock. Has anyone successfully been able to add a 3" suspension lift and small body lift to fit 33s and keep the XREAS?

The 3" is limited by the vehicle itself, not just the XREAS. XREAS limits your options to either a spacer lift or one that utilizes coil springs. I know of people running 33's and taller, so I know it can be done, just not 100% sure what is required. Most run 285/70/17's if I remember correctly. Look up the 4crawler body lifts, they are available all the way up to 1.5", so between that and a 3" suspension (you'll probably want 3" front, 2" rear) I'm sure you can fit 33's pretty easily, if not larger.

ARK_SWAMP_RIDER thanks for the reply, do you know anyone on here that has that kind of setup I could look at? This installer was saying that a body lift would cause the XREAS to not work properly.

I know of a few, I'll have to do some searching as I can't remember names off the top of my head. Several over at toyota120.com are running 34's and 35's, may have better luck on that site.
