'08 Spare tire marks

Just did a dry run of removing the spare tire. When I got it down I noticed a couple marks on one side of the tires sidewall (2" to 3" long 1/2" wide) of the spare. Kinda looks like it was either branded by something hot or it was worn by constantly rubbing up against something. Anyone have this happen to them or want to guess the cause? Thanks in advance guys.

Nothing to worry about.

That's how it was when I first took down my spare.

It's just cause it was clamped when the spare was tighten underneath.
