Well I seem to have an odd problem. I have a Canadian 4runner, 2008, v6 sport edition. Went to the dealer to order the security and the security system is not available (ie the whole system with glass sensor package) as an accessory based specifically on my VIN, HOWEVER I can buy just the glass breakage sensor ??:wtf:
Would this suggest there is the brains onboard already, any Canadian 4runner owners see this before?
The dealer service manager was unsure and is looking into it, but he did say in the past that US vehicle options and accessories have been found to be different than Canadian and that's why these have to use VIN lookups to verify whats in and available for each vehicle.
Anything I can check??
