08 V6 Limited 4wd noise & vibration

Haven't really run the truck much in 4HI mode since last Winter so last night hit the 4 hi switch and all of a sudden I get all kinds of fan like noise and vibration when it kicks into 4wd. :wow2: This goes on for about 10-20 miles of driving and then seems to slowly subside. I made an appointment at the dealer to get it checked but since driving it another 5 miles today in 4wd it seems to have quieted down.

Anybody else ever have this happen?

I have the V8 but i thought all Limited's were on 4Hi all the time.

I have the V8 but i thought all Limited's were on 4Hi all the time.

No mine is a V6 Limited and has the 2hi 4hi 4lo switch on the dash with the torson locker button.

Took it in and the dealer says it is "normal" :moping:
