0W30 OK for year round use?

Is 0W30 for winter only? Or can it be used year round?

It's fine for year round use.
Many manufacturers are even recommending 0W-20 for their new models.

You can use it all year. Some 0w30 oils are thicker than 5w30's when hot. The cold start pumpability will only matter if you live in Alaska or Canada.
