1/15/05 Meet

We had a great time overall even though it was about 35 degrees out. 5 4Runner Sport Editions and a Tacoma supercharged showed. The food was incredible. I'm on my laptop so I can't post any pics but I'll get to it tomorrow.

I was a bit worried about meeting some of the guys on this forum but turns out they were all really great guys. I haven't been on this forum very long so I wasn't sure what to expect.

We'll have to plan a T4R.ORG Jamboree this spring/summer at Paragon. All of us at the meet were on stock 4Runners and they should be more than enough for the beginner and intermediate trails. I don't think we're looking to crawl over rocks, just take some off road trails and hang out.

I'm also going to look into a group buy for sets of Bridgestone Revos. My bro-in-law has an auto repair shop with an account at TireRack. I don't know what kind of deal we can get yet but they won't be shipped (probably won't be worth it for the group deal). I'll try to find out some details within the week.

It was great meeting you guys. It seamed like we were old friends. All the trucks looked great, then again, their 4Runners. Now the wait for my 05 4Runner is going to be even more painful. We definitely have to meet again, but we need more time (meet earlier). Also we need to schedule a off-road meet. All our trucks are basically stock but there are trails that will make the meet really fun. I will do some research to find a trail perfect for us.

Yeah...it was great meeting up with you all. I had a great time...just wish it was a bit warmer. Everyone's trucks looked great. Koz...can't wait to see your new Salsa Red Limited. Your Supercharged Taco was sweet! Can't wait to see the pics. And yes...the food at Harold's was rediculous.

Hey it was great meeting you guys. Even thought we only had a small turn-out, it was great sharing a common interest. I believe the four-pound chicken parm sandwich is finally digested in my system. It doesn’t get better than a bunch of T4R guys walking around each other’s vehicles, pointing at stuff and exchanging information/stories.
p.s. I won my Scion bid on ebay that night for $ 102.50. Sorry Chunderboy
