1.25" wheel spacers or no?

My yoko's are wearing out and I'm ready to replace with 265/75/16 duratracs :reddance: My question is purely an astehtic/cosmetic one regarding the spacers. I'm currently running 1" performance products springs front & rear. I don't like wheels that stick out way past the truck or flare but since I have a sport with the large color keyed flares I think the stance is a little on the skinny side. I was thinkinf of adding all pro's 1.25" hub-centric wheels spacers F&R to get a little wider stance. Are there any downsides to the spacers? I hear it will add a little stress to the wheel bearings but enough to where I should worry about having to replace a wheel bearing prematurely? Anyone have pics of installed spacers on a stock rig or one with a 1-2" lift? Here's the best "head-on" shot I have. And yes the running boards are now off

I installed the All-pro 1.5" spacers on my 02. At the time I had a 2.5 suspension lift, but have since added another 1" body lift, and replaced the stock bumper. The only issue that I had was that when I would perform a hard turn either direction in reverse, the tires would rub on the splash-shield and inside fender trim, AND on the driver side rock slider end. But I have 265/75/16 mud terrains, so that may not be an issue with yours. Here are pictures of mine before the install, and then after.

Looks great, thanks for the pics! Interesting that you had that much rubbing but besides the slider part it sounds like stuff that could be trimmed fairly easily.

everyone ive talked to said not to get 1.5" spacers bc theyll rub bad and to stick with 1.25" or less... I was gonna get 1.5" spacers but ill prob end up getting just the 1.25" spacers.

The 1.25 is what I was wanting as well, but according to all-pro, they came in either 1 or 1.5, so I didn't think .25 of an inch would matter that much, ...., but as I have found out, it does. I would recommend as well going with 1 or 1.25.
