1.5'' BL with auto tranny

hey i couldnt find any info so thought id ask so i was thinking about doing a 1.5'' body lift but i have an auto and was wondering if any body has this set up that can let me know if it will work with no problem? thanks

Yes, it'll work. Just loosen the linkage on the tranny before you install the bl and tighten it again after it's finished. That'll put the linkage in the correct position so it's not being pulled on. You'll also need a steering rag joint extension. You may need radiator drop brackets with a 1.5", but I'm not sure. With a 1", you can just take a few seconds and unclip and remove the lower radiator shroud and that's it. Might be the case for a 1.5" also??

You will need a rad drop bracket, unless you do an engine lift too.

Look into 4crawler for the lift and all you need.

I have a 1.5" body lift. It works with no problems. I did not get the radiator drop bracket. Just remove the lower fan shroud piece instead.

I have a 2" bl an I didn't use a radiator drop bracket either. Just remove the lower fan shroud like bandit runner said and you should be fine.

You could probably get away without them, since later years didn't have those 2 extra mounts. Or see if someone with a later year bought a BL & has those 2 left over? Might be a long shot though...

Later models have the mounts. 96s are missing the b-pillar body mount bracket which 4crawler sells but I don't want to buy it if its really not that important.
