A 1/4" beyond the usual 1.25" doesn't sound like much, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyone here running them?

I am but your wheels, tire width & backspacing are all going to come into play when it comes to rubbing or sticking out too far where they hit the fender.

I have the 1.5 up front and rub a little on the front bumper and rear wheel well occasionally. Aside from improving the looks, it significantly improved the handling especially around turns.

I had 1.5s in the front and rear but the rear seemed to stick out an extra .25" on each side so now i'm running 1.5s up front and 1.25" out back which evened out the stance.

Don't run them with anything wider than stock wheels unless you want lots of poke:

My track width is 5" wider than stock. As mentioned, the width will add a lot of stability but also make the tires rub a lot more. To eliminate the rubbing with 285/75/16's and 2.5" of lift, I had to cut the front fenders and roll the rear ones, as well as all of the inner fender work.

I'm running them with zero issues so far. $89 on ebay for 4.

just throwing out advice without backround info is not cool man.

specifically he has after market lug centric wheels so any spacer works fine with them, however oem toyota wheels are not lug centric and have bad vibrations if you use the cheap ebay wheel spacers, not to mention the crap studs they use.

spidertrax on the otherhand are great and are hub and lug centric, they only come in 1.25" for our trucks.

Where is the advice in my post? He asked for feedback on users running 1.5" wheel spacers. I said I'm having zero issues. It's not my fault you cross threaded all your lugs. There's other users who have used non-hubcentric spacers with tapered acorns on hub centric wheels and have been just fine.

Thanks for all the feedback and advice on the topic, gentleman. I'm sticking with the 1.25" Spidertrax spacers. Picking them up tomorrow.

This. I am also running eBay spacers with oem Toyota wheels, non hubcentric and don't have any vibrations, even with my X-terrains. Taking care to thread all the lugs on, making sure they don't touch the wheel on their way in is key to centering the wheel as much as possible.

Also, I don't believe the studs are crap. As a matter of fact they're quite sturdy. I've certainly put them through their paces and have not once had an issue.

I didnt cross thread the lugs, they bent when I was taking them off because the lugs were twice as long as normal.

For those in Phoenix who wish to see eBay spacers firsthand, just shoot me a message. You can drive my truck and see how smooth they run. Granted, I have lug-centric wheels, but still the offer is there.

I agree completely. I believe it's all in how you tighten the wheel to the spacer. This, and a good clean mating surface between all points will make for smooth sailing.

Excellent choice, Spidertrax makes a great product. For those on a budget, or those who wish to put $100 towards other projects, the eBay spacers make a great alternative.

If you are looking just at the Spidertrax, The width is not the issue when comparing the 1.25 vs the 1.5.

For stock and hubcentric aftermarket wheels, the 1.25 is the one to use since the spacer is also hubcentric.

The 1.5 inch is not hubcentric so if you are going to run that one, you should only be doing so on lugcentric only aftermarket wheels.

However, the 3rd gen was designed to run with hubcentric wheels so thats really what should be used for best fitment.

absalom, my comment wasnt to correct you, but rather to clarify that the lug centric wheel spacers dont play well with oem wheels. that being said, ive also had some other issues with the hardware quality on the ebay wheel spacers. you were there when I was backing that lug off, the first 3/4" off threads came out fine and then the lug nut seized up, in order to get the wheel off I had to break the end of the stud off, and all three on the same spacer happened the same way. the thing I like about the spidertrax is they are also anodized and have proper length studs.
