Any one that installed their own, is it har to install? And is the steering extension hard?

I just followed the instructions provided by Roger Brown and his advise on loosening the steering shaft at the rag joint plus the transmission linkage beforehand. Also just loosen the upper clamp that holds the splined end of the steering shaft at the same time.

Reason for loosening, or in my case removing the nuts at the joint to start with is that, once you lift the body off the frame it'll cause separation of the steering shaft from the rubber rag joint. Provided you've already inserted the BL pucks on both sides, you can then just just insert the steering spacer in between.

There are 2 14mm nuts(if i'm not mistaken on the size) that you have to remove, one of which is on the opposite side(duh!), all you have to do is rotate the steering wheel to better expose the other one for easier removal.

I also marked the splined end of the steering shaft inline with the upper clamp beforehand, just for reference, just making sure nothing moved out of place when I rotated the steering wheel...

Pay attention to the orientation of the steering spacer with the side having the larger hole facing down...only one way for it to fit anyway.

Not hard to do at all, just take your time.

i installed the toytec 1" BL without issue, fairly easy process if you have all the equipment required. i managed with a floor jack, a socket set and a wrench. it also helps to have a friend lol

The biggest problem I had with the steering extension, which by the way in my opinion was the most difficult part for me, was the small space to work in and around. The only other piece of advice I would give is to saturate it with PB Blaster the day before you plan to do the install. Took me just a couple of hours total for the entire lift with simple tools. The only speciality tool I used was the hi-lift jack to life the body up one side at a time to allow space for removing the old pucks and inserting the new ones.

I'm bumping this to see how long it took for some of you to install your body lifts.

Also for people who went through 4Crawler, did you get the standard hardware or Heavy Duty?

I started my lift with a week of pre-soaking all the required nuts in penetrating oil. I had the lift done in under a day, working at an interrupted and slow pace. I opted for standard hardware. Not something I figured needed to be overkilled.

I did mine in about 6 hours by myself. I have done one before on another vehicle so I knew what to look out for mostly. I would say take note of the input given about your steering shaft. From what I hear the spacer is actually not needed for 1.5" and below but I used it anyways. One thing to keep an eye out for is your brake lines as some peoples are old or dry and they tend to stretch a bit, just make sure you dont stretch them too much and end up breaking them or it will add another PITA fix to the list. One thing you might note too is that a lot of people find their steering becomes a little more stiff, this is completely normal as a lot of people experience this after even a 1" BL. Good luck dude!
