1 inch cornfed Q

Hello Everyone- This is my first post on a Toyota forum! It’s kind of exciting I have been posting on Jeep Forums for years… and now it’s time for the 4Runner forum!
I have a 2004 Sport Edition 4X4 with the V-8… I just ordered and have in my possession a 1in front Cornfed leveling kit- I have a few questions about front leveling kits for you guys:
1- Has anyone noticed a change in road manners with this kit?
2- Has anyone noticed a significant change in fuel economy with this kit?
3- And… did any of you guys need a front end alignment with this type of kit?

1 - No, my truck rides just the same. Just looks a lot nicer in my opinion.
2 - No, I didn't see a decrease in mileage.
3 - Everyone says that you should, but I didn't. I've had my lift on for over 10,000 miles now and my tires are still wearing very evenly. To each his own I guess.

I am also worried about my rig looking ridiculous while towing… with the front end being 1in taller- thoughts? Am I over thinking this?

One inch in front will still leave the back higher, so no worries looking funny when towing. There are a lot of threads about this, some with pictures.

I agree with the above. With that small of a lift, headlights should be fine. If you do much towing and it's a big concern, I'd advise one of two things:
1) Add FJ Cruiser springs, they will improve ride and handle loads better (less sag when loaded) or
2) Add air bags to the rear so you can adjust ride height when loaded down.

no, i haven't adjusted my headlights. i installed HIDs. really only blinds people if the are sitting in front of me and we are stopped. as for the towing, i have the rear auto leveling so i don't have any input on this.

:iagree: I have both. The FJC springs and the airbags. If you do the spacers without the FJC springs defiantly do the airbags...
