1 inch lift options, please help

ok guys i have a 98 v6 4x4 4runner and i was just given some like new bilstein hd shocks and struts for free and i am looking to lift around an inch to an inch and a half just to have a little nicer stance and capabilities so my question is what would be the most economical(cheapest) way to go. i was thinking 99 tall coils all around but i also considered a toytec top plate spacer (1/2 inch) up front and 99 coils in back what would you guys do? im trying to get by with spending as little as possible but i also want to keep my factory ride or as close to as possible

Daystar KT09112BK . Urethane spacer lift of 1.5" for around $125-$150. They also make a 2.5" for about the same price.

Yea I used to have the daystar 2.5 on mine but I didn't like the rough ride or the potential to sag

Get '99 coils if you want to keep the factory ride. Or do a 1" body lift.

I think I'm gonna get the 99 coils I would do a body lift but I have a brushguard and it wouldn't fit right after unless someone could fab me something to raise it

I have my old set of tall 99 coils front and rear if your intrested in them. the fronts are comp assembled with the strut still. up to you.

I just purchased a daystar 1.5 lift kit from amazon for 137 shipped. Don't have it on yet though so I can't give u much more info then that..

Why don't you just put those on your 'Runner?

It was suggested to me to go for OME over the 99 coils. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/78814-realistically-speaking-offroad-capabilities.html

I think I'll end up with the 880/906 OME coils.

Yes but they are not the tall coils I bought them thinking they were and they were wrong

The '99 springs will not necessarily give you 1" of lift. I have a '98 and if I remember correctly I was pretty close to the measurements of the '99 coils.

PP used to make some 1" springs. They are hard to find, but are pretty nice.

You might want to clarify that point in your classified ad too... that way you don't have folks PM-ing to ask if they are the '99 tall coils. The ad, as it reads, could easily be misleading.

Regarding a 1" lift, if you're looking for the most economical option, I'd have to 2nd Brian2sun and say throw a 1" body lift on there, and put the bilsteins on with your stock coils. The body lift will run you around $100, and you'll also have a factory ride or as close to as possible.

Ok I wil edit my listing but I have pretty much decided on the body lift does anyone know someone who could fab up some brackets where I can keep my brushguard? Thanks guys
