2005 4WD SR5 - 1 Month, 4500 Miles

This is my new baby, I have had her for a month and we have already done 4500 miles together. I left on a road trip of the US a few days after I took delivery. Just enough time to get some tint on the front windows, which is the only mod so far. I'm planning to debadge and need to put sliders on her.

These pics were taken in Colorado and New Mexico, which is where I am currently. Next stops are Moab, Grand Canyon, then down into Arizona. Anyone in these areas want to get together for some wheelin', drop me a line!

Now on with the pics:

Note in this one I popped the cover off the trailer hitch, pesky low ground clearance...

Getting up a bit of a sandy/snowy slope. It took 3 tries, would have been easier with a spotter.

Lots of snow at the top. I was a bit nervous about getting stuck (drifts of about 2 feet in spots), but she didn't even breathe heavy!

Coming back down through the Garden of the Gods state park. This pic was taken just after I bashed my passenger side running board, again a spotter would have been good. Looks like its time for sliders for me!

What speed does the limiter/governor kick in? So I'll know where to set the cruise control.:satan:

I crunched my driver side running board once, bought a new set, so I still have a perfect passenger side running board if you are interested. Let me know
Thanks Jake, but I am pretty sure I'm going to pick up sliders. No sense bashing and replacing running boards all the time. If I don't get em, I will drop you an email.

How could you not? Really, this is at least half of what I bought her for. I wear the crunched running board and other minor stuff like a badge of honor:D

Really? No wonder I couldn't push any more. I thought she was just out of juice, as you can see, I'm revving almost 5Kin the pic.

I agree, I am proud of my trail "love" . I have a few scrapes, scratches and dings.

I wish I felt that way :( I feel like I'm cheating my 'runner, but I can't live with a scratch. You just stay in the nasty stuff, and keep posting pics ;): :D
