Here she is; washed, waxed and gassed up. I still have to get better tires but that can wait... the Nerf Bars couldn't.

Nice, can't wait for the weather to warm up enough when I'm off work seems like the weather is working against me , when I'm working it's 60 - 80, when I'm off 29-36. gotta love the mid-west weather.

Looks nice! I'd take off the nerf bars if it were mine. They just dont look like they belong there. The design of them doesnt fit the vehicle at all.. Its an awesome 4R and those nerf bars look.... Just my opinion

The bars stick out because its my preference. I can bring them in closer to the body by about an inch if I wanted to. However, I would take the risk of someone rubbing the car when they go to use the step. It doesn't look bad at all in my opinion. Plus, at $150 delivered, the 4'11 wife is a happy camper.

Now that I look at pics, I might want to white out the Toyota sign and either black out or match the wings of the emblem to the magnetic grey.

I noticed that and took it off shortly after i snapped the pic. Anyways, I'm diggin' the white emblem and plan to make it a project. I'll post my mockup soon - t

Clean 4Runner man, but this forum has it's ways of making you want to change a lot of little things that never would have bothered you. Now it just looks weird seeing a stock "twisty" antenna on it.

I plan to do some simple modding - nothing too far out until I own her.
So what's the word on reception near North County? I currently get SD and some of the LA stations. Do you see a 7" stubby antenna drastically affecting reception?
