Made me chuckle, I have been working with a audio shop to make me a custom box and I just saw the new thread by someone on here with it integrated into the right side storage area, looks good!
Anyways I have attached 2 pics of my box, it is a 10", not ported. The entire thing is fiberglass and hand made. The guy designed it to fit perfectly into the side storage unit without having to remove anything but the storage cover itself.
If anyone is interested he does have the mold that he made of that storage unit, all that would have to be done is to create a front for it based on each persons preference.
Feel free to contact me if anyone wants his information, am sure he would just sell that mold or do a whole one for you if interested. I paid 300$ for mine which I thought was fair given all the time it took him to make it.
it did take him about 5 weeks as he became very busy, but was very happy with his work!
Whole unit is only secured by 4 screws into the plastic of the car from the inside with woofer removed. Sounds good, no rattles, and cargo shade and double decker system still works...so glad to be rid of my box sitting in the rear !
