10-year boy needs our help...

All right guys (and girls). I'm not big into social media. But I think there's times when it's a good thing and the story below is one of these times.

Please read the link, and please click on the Facebook page link inside to wish this kid a happy birthday. It costs you nothing, and it'll only take a minute. But it could mean something HUGE to a boy who could really use some support.

This is a chance to help do something nice for someone and I know everyone that does help will feel good for it.

My first reaction is what a lazy mom. Like it's not going to be embarrassing for him that his mother has announced to the whole world that he has no friends? Why doesn't she get him involved in something that kids like him get involved in like a Pokémon league, martial arts or Cub Scouts? There are also social skills groups for Asperger's kids. My kids are teens but I still look at their Facebook and I would take a dim view of some random middle aged guy friending them. My heart goes out to the boy though.

He's probably more likely to have his lunch money stolen now that this happened.
