100 watt fog lights ok?

Ok, one of my XD5 bulbs finally burned out. After more than 2 years, that was a pretty good $10 investment!
When I swapped all my bulbs out, I put 80 watts in the low beams and the fogs, and 100 watts in the high beams. Well, I bought an extra set of 100 watters thinking that the high beams would burn out first for some reason. Anyway, I wonder if it would hurt anything (wire harness, housing, etc...) If I swap out my fogs with 100 watt bulbs.
Anyone have any thoughts?

The possibility of melting the housing and frying the wiring is there with a higher wattage bulb.

Personally, I wouldn't run anything higher than the stock wattage.

I have to agree. Run premium bulbs, and aim them correctly, and they work just fine with no worries
