H Hawk New member Dec 30, 2003 #1 Where is the 110 volt plug located on the 4Runner? Is it basically an inverter? What is the wattage? I just got a 400 watt inverter and would like to know if I should return it, as I will be buying a 4Runner very soon. Thanks in advance for any responses. Hawk

Woodbert New member Dec 30, 2003 #2 It should be located inside the center console, front. There is a switch on the dash to activate it. Not sure of the watts. You will also have a 12V plug in the front and another in the rear cargo area so you may want to keep the inverter.

jj8111 New member Jan 23, 2004 #4 Inverter Location I looked up the location in my repair manual. The inverter is located behind the drivers rear quarter panel. Rather annoying to get to. I opened it up and the wire harness is there for the inverter. Maybe I will check the price of the inverter, switch and outlet and put it in. If toyota already added the wires it should be cake. -John
