115V AC outlet

According to the Owners Manual, it's got a 100W maximum. I have used it to power a small laptop computer. Read the power supply carefully to see how much input power it needs - many big widescreen laptops would draw too much power. I have also used it to power a wireless access point when I needed a temporary wireless network in the middle of a parking lot.

I keep a 25' extension cord in the truck along with a 3-prong to 2-prong converter. You never know when even a little AC power will be a handy thing.

Last Christmas I wrapped my roofrack with 4 strands of LED lights, no problem...:D
That's pretty darn cool!

My use has been pretty simple - charge my phone and charge my iPod.

thanks

Thanks guys,

I will be picking up a new V6 Limited this morning. My 2002 4runner had three 12VDC outlets in the front console whereas the 08 only has the one up front. With a Y splitter I can live with that. Never thought about charging the cell phone with AC in the vehicle.

I like the blender idea.:D :D
