125k service suggestions?

Hey all, time for my 2nd post. My recently purchased '97 4x4 v6 is coming up on 125k and since I have no history on it, I thought it would be a good time to give it a good going over. Wondering what items would be most important to check out, things that normally fail around this time, etc. I'm thinking about power flushing all fluids, i.e. tranny, diff, coolant, etc. oil change of course, air filter, plugs, brake fluid..... Anything else to watch out for or that I could proactively address? brakes are new...bearings maybe? also need new shocks on the rear which is on the list. Is there any way to easily/cheaply check the timing belt and see how it looks. Don't know when that was changed last either....Any advice appreciated greatly by this newbie!!!

http://www.toyota.com/html/owners/ go there, click on service & maintenance, enter in your trucks info and go to your mileage. itll tell ya what you need now and what you shouldve had done.

did you buy from a private seller? if so, call and ask about the timing belt... or ask where he got it serviced.

if its the dealer, they shouldve done all this checking before selling it...

Lee, thanks for the link...bought it from a small used car lot...they wholesaled it from a larger dealer in town that took it on trade....no info byond that..not the way I like to buy a vehicle, but it was too clean to pass up....
