12v accessory sockets, are they DIN?

12v accessory sockets, sources?

I was browsing around the web trying to find a nice design of 12v accessory outlet for my new 4Runner (They really need to add 2-3 more!) and came across a number in the UK that are the style I really like, something with a flip-up cap. However, they are DIN. I never gave it much thought but it seems that the Europeans have come up with a slightly different but very similar accessory plug. So the question I have is what is in our 4Runners? Is it DIN or is it the american style cig lighter size?

These are some of the ones that caught my eye:

If someone has a good source in the states for similar styles (panel mount with retaining nut, preferably ones that have a flip up cover) I'd sure appreciate the info!

Found some pics of the DIN plugs, looks like it's not those...So, any source of similar STYLE sockets for US type plugs?

Do you guys have any idea were is the best place to tap the wire for this extra 12 volts plug? I have 06 SR5 4WD.

Thanks.

What I plan to do is run some nice heavy gauge wire to a distribution block straight from the battery, maybe one with inline fuses in it then just feed from that to whatever I need to power. This way I get a nice clean separate source of power that is always on and I don't touch any existing wiring.

Something similar to this:

The trick will be to put that distribution block in a place that is somewhat hidden yet you can still get to pretty easily to check fuses. I haven't had a chance yet to really check out how things look behind my dash (4R is only a few days old).
