Try a search for "12v compressors" on this forum and you'll find several good threads.
Hmmm..maybe I'll sell you one of mine. I grabbed three of the best compressors available before they stopped making them!

Sun Performance makes pretty good air compressors for just that purpose. They specialize in wranglers, but they have their QuickAir compressors. I have the original installed in my wrangler, and there are 2 newer ones available now. They're a little expensive, but work really well.
