IKZ's can be bought in the US. He thinks he owns the only diesel 4Runner in the whole country... nope. I've seen several diesel Hilux Surfs and other diesel conversions.

Diesels rarely put out impressive HP numbers for their size. However, the power under the curve and the exciting powerband of a diesel can make them feel a lot faster than they are. My 163 HP diesel Cruiser made our 235 HP 4th gen 4runner feel like a dog, despite being slower.
