Haven't had a chance to get 'er cleaned up but thought I'd post anyway. This is 15% Formula One (Llumar) Classic.

Looks pretty good.

That picture shows the classic problem of the fronts being lighter than the rears, which is why it's almost always good to go darker on the fronts.

Yup. I had thought about that prior to bringing it in.

The last 4 vehicles I tinted up here- I had 5% all around in one, and the others I went darker in back and lighter on the front two. I was hassled by law enforcement fairly regularly when I drove the car with 5% all around. The others, I've never had any problems.

I think as long as it appears to be lighter on the front two they don't really want to waste their time. At least in my area! :) I'm happy with it, and didn't want to do just the front two to "match". Having the front being lighter than the back looks better than the front being darker than the back in my opinion.

I don't know what kind of tint they used for mine but I don't see any difference on the tint from the inside out...

That's not what I was talking about.

If it's sunny outside a lot of the times the front windows appear to be lighter so it's a good idea to either go darker on the fronts or add some tint to the windshield.

Well I was actually making a comment because I have seen some that with or without the sunlight appears to be lighter when u look from the inside out....Seen a couple here on the forum .

Is 20% really darker than stock?

Stock is 20%
Looks great Mike !!

You must be kidding! I can see thru my 4R from outside even when the moonroof is closed. Don't mind the white stains on the ground. That's just Turtle Wax tire foam. Sorry for the big pics.

LOL. Sorry duder, I meant "Looks Good Sheik"

From what I've seen, the stock shading on the rear windows is 20-25%.

Thanks for the comments!

Another photo with the sun overhead rather than coming in the windshield.

I guess I'm pretty lucky then. I haven't had an issue with tint in 6 years and all of my vehicles during that time have been 15-20% on all windows.

Mine matches from the outside, but from the inside looking out the fronts are MUCH darker. I took it to an AltaMere to have it installed and they said they couldn't use the Metalized film because of the Tire Pressure monitoring system. I didn't think 2006 had that. :(

I just had it done a week or so ago, so I don't know.
