17" Lexus Wheels on 4Runner / Snowtires - Tire Pressure Warning Light

I picked up 4 Lexus 17" x 7.5 wheels with the tire pressure sensors. I intend to mount studded snow tires on them. The local toyota dealer quoted $93 to reprogram my 4Runner to use the sensors in the new wheels. When I change back to non-studded tires next spring it will cost another $93 to go to my original sensors! Does anyone know of a way to program the tire pressure system without going to the dealer? I assume that I can't use my OBD2 scanner to change the codes. Any suggestions other than just ignore the tire pressure warning light?

There is no other way, that's why they're called stealerships. We don't have the ability to run 2 sensor setups like the LC but maybe there is a future mod there if someone likes to tackle it (big $$$ for the electronics.)

I run snows in winter. Ignore the light by using a small piece of electrical tape over it.

A simple solution that works

you can leave your stock set in the garage, as long as you dont drive long distance light shouldnt go off, if it does , it will reset at night when you park next to them. or use the tape.

does anybody know if there is a way to reset the codes on the sensors themselves so that they produce the same signal/code as the originals?
