I'm looking for a set of off-road tires, probably 285/70R17 GoodYear MT/R and need a set of new rims. I was thinking of getting the new rims with better offset to eliminate rubbing. Unfortunately I wasn't even able to get the specification for stock 17" Toyota rims, so I don't have the base point to go from. Does anyone know the wheel specification for stock 17" rims? On most websites when you looking for wheel specification it shows: Size, Offset, Backside, Bolt Circle. What is Backside?
I'd also appreciate any opinion and suggestions regarding makes and models of aftermarket rims.
