17" Steel Wheels

Hello, does Toyota make Steel wheels that are 17" Like the spare wheels for the 3rd gen runners spare tire? I bought a set of 16" spare wheels for my 99 runner but the 03 4runner has 17" inch wheels.................................:bash:

I don't believe Toyota makes a 17" steel wheel, only Alloy. If they did make one, they never made it an option on their SUVs. You could probably find an aftermarket 17" wheel, just have to find the right bolt pattern.

Woah,,, thanks , now all I have to do is find some one that has them and wants the wheels off my 2003 4runner se ...........

If looks are secondary, after market manufacturers make 17" steel. I bought some for my winter tires.

You can get a 17" steel off a 2005+ Tacoma with the TRD Sport package. But that would mean four Taco Sport owners are willing to let their steelie go. Only the TRD Sport package Tacomas have 17" wheels, the others have 16" rims and X-Runner has 18" wheels. Toyota cheaps out on some models and don't provide an alloy for the spare, my Camry and Tacoma have four alloys plus a steelie. Not sure if being made in the US plays a role in that.

Looks like the tires are on the wrong way, they look directional and the direction looks to be on backwards. oddly the rears look like they are on the right way.

Oh Thanks a Bunch GUYS I like the factory steel wheels, Toyota used to have the steel wheels as spares on the 4runner but not anymore, so now I have more places to look,, thanks again:awais:

Good eye. Yes, that was on backwards. I mentioned that in the original thread where I first posted the pic.

I just put one on to make sure the rim fit properly. I didn't care which rim it was at the time. :)
