175,000 Miles

I have 175,000 Miles mostly all city miles so i drive a lot. I have had no problems with this vehicles besides the brakes. So im wondering is this to many miles and is it time to buy a new vehicle before things start breaking or should i hold on to it and just start getting it ready for some off roading??

BTW its a 99 T4R SR5 4WD

tons of people buy your vehicle with over 200+ miles and drive them forever. keep the vehicle till she breaks. as long as you keep up on the maintenance you should see 300k miles plus

Im building mine for camping and expeditionary trips, Ill have another car for my basic around town with good gas mileage car.

I would keep the vehicle as long as possible. Buy a second vehicle as a commuter. I have about 165k miles on my tacoma, probably drive it until it dies on me then throw a new motor in it.

I just turned 193,000 on my 99 SR5 this morning. These things treat you great as long as you take care of them.

Alright guys thanks, good news my dad talked to some guys today also who had 250,000 up and said all i need to do it change the timing belt. So Im keepting it! Let the Mods Begin! Thanks for the input im pumped to do this. P.s Im gonna buy gome General Tires the A/T (looks like same tread as BFG's A/T) And my daily commuter will be a street bike haha im gonna get one. Anyways thanks for the input!

Mine just turned 246,000 miles.

Only issues so far:

starter, rear axel seal, antenna, heater control knob for heat / ac temp.

O yea, i had a real axle seal go i read an article on yotatech and fixed with ease. Sooo ok looks like im keeping it then thanks man
