17x9 wheels with -12mm offset and 4.5" back spacing

Hey what's up guys, I got a question.

Does anyone know if I can fit 17x9 rims on the 02 3rd gen?.

The offset is -12mm and back spacing is 4.5". I found a killer set of rims that would look good on a thundercloud and I really want to try an fit them on my truck. I'll be putting in some bfg at ko2 in 265/70/17... Seems to be the biggest size tire thst I can put on a stock suspension.

I'm planning to put on the 99 tall coils but not for a while. The truck has low mileage and it's more of a daily driver right now. I don't really plan on lifting it any higher then 2" but like I said its gonna be a while before I make the final decision.

Can anyone help me out with this questio? Also the rims are in the link below incase you guys are wondering what they look like.

Should work out just fine, the backspace is very close to factory wheels, so the added width is going to be to the outside of the vehicle, should line up pretty close to the fender.

With no flares, definitely, with factory limited or sport flares, maybe.

I saw a post on here with someone adding .75" spacers on 275/70/17 and they're tires came flush to the limited flares.

Pretty much that's why I had those tires on my 98 before I sold her. I never got to add the spacers and my flares were the regulars sr5 flares but I was on the hunt for some limited flares.

I'll try to find the guy who had them. It looked really clean

Are you sure those are -12mm offset? The page you linked just shows "Offset: 12mm". The difference between -12mm and +12mm is about an inch, so it could matter.

You have to choose the proper 17x9

Click on the option for 17x9 and choose the top one. It will change the offset to -12 and back spacing to 4.5. After I changed the selection myself that's what the dimensions came out to on my end
