18in wheels on a 2004

Folks,

Does anyone run an 18inch wheel on a 2004 Limited 4-runner? I am looking to put on some limited 18 in Toyota rims currently I have a 17in wheel. I'd be getting a cornfred 3/2 lift. I was just curious what sort of rubbing issues and fitting issues others have experienced.

thank you

You should be fine. go one series lower (265/65/17 vs. 265/60/18) and you'll have the same outer diameter - no rubbing.

I did what galactic mentioned. I have a sport but it's got 18s on it, no rubbing at all. All I had to do was keep off my front mud flaps. Rears are fine.

You dontt need a lift to fit 18" wheels and 265/60/18 (stock) OR 265/65/18 (32"). You could probably fit 275/60/18 as well without issue.

Rims diameter has nothing to do with figment until you get to something dumb like 24's.

What you need to do size the right tire to fit.

The sizes listed above will work find, but I suggest 265/65/18 as they are larger than stock and will fit the wheel wells better once you are lifted.
