What should I roughly expect to pay for one of these in the Houston, TX area? I used TrueCar on my last vehicle purchase but I didn't find it all that useful and was flooded with spam calls for months lol. I know some people may not even be close to TX but any feedback would be cool. Also, the amount of off-roading I do is fairly limited. I like running out to the beach every now and then and doing some light trails and whatnot. I figured this would be the best trim level for me, but what do you all think? Thanks

deals are to be made; be aggressive with the dealerships and make them earn your business. Shop a 500 mile radius on pricing, use this site for what members have paid as well.

yes 35 or less, I believe I was around 31k plus 5 year maintenance included. Since then I did the trd pro suspension deal at $450, trd pro wheels under $150 after selling stock sr5 wheels, trd pro skid plate, painted roof rails as well. Note this is the wifes suv!! I like it as well and started shopping for a trd pro but wife said no. A few midwest dealers were doing 4-5k under msrp on the trd pro after some haggling.

SR5 premium is nice, do you need a 3rd row? If not I would consider the pro or off road models. I would've preferred the trd pro for residual value, the front bumper on the other models I dont care for.

I agree with the 35k price. Anything more and your over paying. These are good cars but they are basic, your not getting a Mercedes so you should be charged as if you are.

I bought the model your looking at in 2018. I’m in California and shopped for months and the best I could get was $42,000 out the door.

Because TTL are different in each state (or county for that matter), we should be giving prices before taxes.

I bought a 2018 SR5 Premium 4x4 for $33,900 before TTL.

I live in CA but went to AZ to buy it because it was a lot cheaper there. You might want to do the same.

I'm in Oregon but we paid $37,100 for 4x4 SR5 Premium with moon roof and 3rd row seat. After fees it was like $37,750. But we only have half a percent luxury tax on new (or less than 7500 mile used) vehicles. No sales tax. I shoped around hard and most dealers wouldn't do less than $38,500.
